Our Story
BHR — Built on Discipline, Run Like Family
I founded BHR Construction Co. in 2018 after the Marine Corps — to build the way operators, owners, and contracting officers actually need it built. On the date promised. With documentation that holds up under audit. By a GC who picks up the phone.
The path here ran through the Corps, The Citadel, and field years at Taylors Electric and other Upstate contractors — no outside backing, no shortcuts. Just the reps that make a GC who reads the field, not just the drawings.
What that looks like in practice is a full commercial slate across the Southeast — restaurants and QSR (approved national contractor for 7 Brew Coffee, Rosatis Pizza, Pure Green Juice Bar, and ColdStone Creamery), hotels, offices and medical, churches, multifamily, public-sector, and industrial — paired with luxury custom homes, additions and remodels, Lake Keowee shoreline projects, decks, and pre-engineered metal buildings for residential acreage and commercial yards alike. Every project ships with documented progress, direct dealer and manufacturer relationships, and a punch list that gets to zero.
